Jayakumarasamy J has worked in a variety of roles in the logistics industry since 2002. Jayakumarasamy started their career at T V S Logistics Service Ltd- Tata Motors Ltd - Regional Spare Parts Business as a Deputy Officer, where they were responsible for the smooth functioning of the spare part warehouse. In 2006, they joined Nokia India Pvt Ltd. as a Senior Material Flow Specialist, where they were responsible for managing raw material replenishment at production lines and semi-finished warehouses. In 2014, they moved to Leeway Logistics Limited as a Project Manager/Warehouse Manager- Ashok Leyland Ennore, where they were responsible for leading the in-plant logistics operation. Finally, in 2015, they joined Flintobox.com as a Warehouse Manager, where they were responsible for Ecommerce start up company which produces educational activity boxes for children and preschools.

Jayakumarasamy J completed their HSLC in Science Mathematics from BISHOP HEBER HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, TRICHY-2 in 1995. Jayakumarasamy then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathidasan University in 1999. In 2014, they received certifications in ISO 9001-2008 QMS LEAD AUDITOR from IRCA and Lean Black Belt Six Sigma from Benchmark Six Sigma.
