Iain Shepherd

Iain Shepherd is an accomplished Senior Software Development Engineer currently with FLIP since February 2021. Previously, Iain played a significant role at Quest Software from May 2015 to January 2021, focusing on core microservices for the spotlightcloud.io SaaS product. Prior experience includes positions at Goldman Sachs, where Iain enhanced critical systems leading to the decommissioning of a mainframe, and at Morgan Stanley, where performance improvements were made to the 'Tripod' Trade Confirmations system. Additionally, Iain has held development roles at prominent firms such as RBS Global Banking & Markets, Barclays Capital, BT Global Services, and Prompt Computers, building expertise in Java and system development since starting a career following a BSc in Computer and Management Sciences from the University of Warwick.
