Mathew Byrne

Mathew Byrne is an experienced software professional with a strong background in frontend development and engineering management. Currently serving as Frontend Lead at Flip since March 2023, Mathew previously held multiple roles at 99designs from June 2016 to May 2022, including Engineering Manager and Tech Lead. Mathew's expertise also includes development work at Emojipedia, where a python-based web application was created, and a decade-long tenure as Director at JB Interactive, focusing on modern HTML5 web applications. Previous experience includes web and iOS development at Evolution 7 and tutoring at RMIT. Mathew Byrne holds a BA in Computer Science from RMIT University, attained between 2004 and 2007.
