Jason Syltebo

Jason Syltebo is an experienced audio designer with a rich background in leading technical and creative audio initiatives at Microsoft from May 2016 to July 2024. As a Senior Audio Designer, Jason drove cross-organizational efforts to develop advanced AI audio features and defined music system design across various platforms. Prior to this role, Jason worked as Sr. Audio Designer for the Office Media Group, overseeing projects like Windows 10 Video Editor and Microsoft Stream. Jason also contributed to Xbox projects as an Implementation/Sound Designer for HoloLens, and led the audio department for Microsoft Flight. Earlier career experiences include owning Izze-O-Studio and working as a Sound Designer for Filter Talent. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Washington and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Digital Audio Engineering from Shoreline Community College.
