Adrian Afnandika

Adrian Afnandika has over 8 years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Flip, where they worked on the Promotion Feature, enabling cash back for International Transfer and Domestic Transfer. Adrian acted as a Lead and used several tech stack such as MySQL, Redis, Google PubSub, DataDog, etc. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tokopedia, where they worked on fraud detection system with the campaign team and improved buyer experience with legitimate discount price on their product. Adrian increased scalability to evaluate product's discount from 1.4 million to 4.2 million in real time. Adrian also provided technical guidance for Software Engineers. The tech stack they used included Elasticsearch, Go, NSQ, Postgre, Redis, gRPC, GraphQL, etc. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange, where they worked on several projects such as e-learning applications and several company profiles. Adrian also had a position as a Software Engineer Lead in the Epact project. Adrian successfully implemented code versioning best practices for more productive work, planned, designed, coded, reviewed, and deployed the Epact project, and refactored the Epact codebase for more maintainability. The tech stack they used included Laravel, VueJS, SQL Server, etc. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Graduate Student and Assistant Lecturer of Network Design and Management at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Developer Internship at PT.Pertamina (Persero), where they developed new applications, business intelligence based on Power BI, and several other projects. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Head of Application and Technology at HMSI ITS, where they improved programming skills of its members through regular exercises and final projects.

Adrian Afnandika obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya between 2014 and 2018. In addition, they obtained the IC3 - Computing Fundamentals certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in February 2017.
