Dave Oppenhuizen

Dave Oppenhuizen is an accomplished patent attorney based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, currently serving at Oppenhuizen Law PLC since June 2014 and at FLIP since 2016. With previous experience as a patent and trademark attorney at The Weintraub Group, P.L.C. from April 2007 to May 2014, and earlier roles as a design engineer at Bradford White and an engineering co-op at Bosch, Dave brings a strong engineering and legal background to the field of intellectual property, specializing in patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Dave holds a Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. Additionally, Dave has international education experience from UNSW.
