Oliver Johnson-Terleski

Oliver Johnson-Terleski has extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. Since 2021, they have been working as an Android tech lead at Flipboard. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, Oliver worked as a Senior Software Engineer at YOR LABS INC, where they built an Android application client for a wireless ultrasound device.

From 2017 to 2020, Oliver served as the Lead Android Developer at moovel Group, leading a team of developers in building a white-label application for public transit tickets. Oliver also mentored junior and senior engineers and contributed to new features and frameworks.

Before that, Oliver was a Senior Android Developer at RoboNouveau, where they worked on video streaming apps and location-based components for American Express. Oliver also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, focusing on non-verbal input systems for smartphones.

Oliver's other notable work experiences include roles as a Research Scientist and Android Engineer at ARO, an Android Engineer at Ubermind, Inc., and a Software Developer at Laserfiche. Oliver also served as a Research Intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they developed methods for pattern recognition in grayscale images.

Oliver Johnson-Terleski holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.E) degree in Electrical Engineering from Harvey Mudd College, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Oliver further pursued higher education at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Signals and Controls in Neural Engineering, completing it from 2011 to 2015.
