Leon Weavers

Leon Weavers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Leon is currently working at Flipdish as the Head of IT since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Walmart Global Tech from 2017 to 2021 as the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, where they led IT projects, managed a team, and worked on integration projects with Walmart.

Before joining Walmart, Leon worked at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home from 2015 to 2017 as the Manager, Infrastructure IT Projects, where they led technical projects and implemented Exchange 2016 and Office 365. Leon also worked at Dealogic in 2015 as the Desktop Support Manager, managing the EMEA desktop team and overseeing project management and delivery.

In 2014, Leon worked at Workday as a Senior IT Systems Specialist EMEA. Prior to that, they served as the IT Support Manager at Claranet from 2012 to 2014, where they led a support team across multiple locations and was involved in company integration and IT support team merge after an acquisition.

Leon's earlier experiences include working at Salesforce.com as a Senior IT/EXEC Support Specialist from 2008 to 2012, Cosmos Holidays as a Desktop Support Engineer from 2006 to 2008, SAGA as a Senior PC Support Specialist from 2000 to 2005, and Bloomberg as a Studio Support Specialist from 1999 to 2000.

Leon Weavers has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended Aylesford where they pursued their GCSE, focusing on English, Math, Science, Technology, Business Studies, French, and Geography. Leon completed their GCSE in 1996.

Afterward, Leon attended Mid Kent college from 1997 to 1999, where they studied IT. Although they didn't obtain a degree from this institution, they gained knowledge in the field.

In 2022, Leon enrolled at the Irish Management Institute, pursuing a Diploma in Leadership with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. As of now, there is no end year specified for this program, suggesting that they are currently enrolled.

Additionally, Leon has obtained a Diploma in Leadership from the Irish Management Institute in May 2023. Prior to that, in March 2021, they acquired the certification in "Implementing Your IT Strategy" from LinkedIn.
