Rakesh Krishnan

Rakesh Krishnan possesses extensive experience in the e-commerce and technology sectors, currently serving as the Vice President Grocery at Flipkart since September 2013. Rakesh has held several key leadership positions at Flipkart, including Vice President and Business Head of Marketplace, Senior Director of the Electronics Business Unit, and Director of Large Appliances, where Rakesh led the white goods business. Earlier roles at Flipkart include Associate Director, responsible for Automotive, IoT, Gaming, and Personal Care Appliance categories, and Senior Category Manager managing major accounts within the Electronics unit. Prior to Flipkart, Rakesh worked at airtel in various sales management roles and began a career as a Software Engineer at Exeter Group. Rakesh holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
