Shyam Akirala

Shyam Akirala is a Software Architect at Flipkart since August 2015, focusing on Flipkart Search. Previously, Shyam held several positions at Flipkart, including Software Development Engineer IV, where significant system optimization was achieved, and Software Development Engineer III, contributing to the Promise Engine that handles high-volume requests for various customer interfaces. Shyam also created Flux, an open-source event-driven system, and participated in developing workflow orchestrators in earlier roles. Prior to Flipkart, Shyam worked at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer II on the ISE security platform and its associated components. Shyam holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science.
