Fiona Cober

Fiona Cober is an experienced professional in data science and engineering with a strong background in leading technical teams and developing data-driven solutions. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Analytics Capabilities at Flipp, Fiona oversees a team focused on creating a self-serve data platform. Prior roles include Senior Manager positions at Somm™, where Fiona developed machine learning models and built data warehousing infrastructure, and ApplyBoard, where Fiona led cross-functional machine learning projects. Earlier experience as a Data Scientist at Smile.io involved the implementation of data warehouses and predictive modeling, complemented by foundational roles in various technical co-op positions during studies at the University of Waterloo, where Fiona earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering with an option in Management Sciences.
