Arjuna Sathiaseelan has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2006, they worked at the University of Aberdeen as a Research Fellow and Associate, focusing on architecting the Future Internet and enabling Universal Service Provisioning. In 2012, they became the Director of the Networking for Development Lab at the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge, where they initiated and directed the lab.
During their time at the University of Cambridge, Arjuna also served as an Advisor for Ensemble Pour La Difference, a social business incubator in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Ubuntu Power. Arjuna was also a Member of the Internet Research Steering Group and the Founder & Chair of the Global Access to the Internet for All (GAIA) Research Group at the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF).
In 2014, Arjuna joined the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) at the United Nations Foundation as an Advisor on their Access Advisory Panel. Arjuna was involved in the organization's $75 million Digital Impact Alliance project.
In 2015, Arjuna co-founded Flipped.ai, a generative AI hiring automation platform, where they currently serve as the CEO & Co-Founder. Flipped.ai has been part of several prestigious programs, including the Facebook Accelerator Program, Microsoft for Startups, IDEA London (incubated by Cisco, EDF, and UCL), and StartAD.

Arjuna Sathiaseelan earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in the years 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at King's College London from 2000 to 2001. Later, they completed their education by obtaining a PhD from King's College London between 2001 and 2005.
