Kathleen Wienhold

Kathleen Wienhold has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Kathleen started their career in 1996 at Applix, where they worked as a Software Engineer focusing on database integration and user interface design. From 1999 to 2000, they joined CertCo Inc. as a Development Engineer, where they wrote software for web server and client implementations of various protocols. At iRobot, they served as a Sr Principal Software Engineer from 2000 to 2016, specializing in Android development and mesh radio development. Kathleen then joined Endeavor Robotics as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018. At Point Road Solutions, they worked as the Chief Software Architect from 2018 to 2020, focusing on radar software design and development using various technologies. Currently, Kathleen is a Principal Software Engineer at FLIR Systems, specializing in robotics software engineering with a focus on ROS.

Kathleen Wienhold obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1990.
