R. Michael Villarreal

R. Michael Villarreal has worked at a variety of companies since 1994. R. Michael began their career at Jefferies & Company as a Research Analyst in the Investment Banking Analyst Energy Group. In 1997, they moved to Dillon, Read & Company, Inc. as an Associate Research Analyst in the Oilfield Services and Equipment Sector. Later that same year, they returned to Jefferies & Company as a Senior Research Associate in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production sector. In 1999, they joined CIBC World Markets as an Executive Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst. In 2003, they founded and became President of Safari Hardwoods, LLC. In 2005, they joined Dennard Rupp Gray & Lascar, LLC as a Managing Director. In 2006, they moved to Morgan Keegan as a Senior Vice President in Energy Investment Banking. In 2008, they joined V. V. Swartz & Company, LLC as a Managing Director in Investment Banking. In 2019, they joined SMG Industries, Inc. as a Board of Directors member. R. Michael also founded and is the President of Flite Banking Centers.

R. Michael Villarreal earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston between 1994 and 1996.
