Lily Zakarian

Lily Zakarian has over 12 years of work experience in the creative industry. Lily began their career in 2008 as a Freelance Video Editor for “TeleFormat” in Moscow. Lily then joined All-Russia State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK) as a Video Editor for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games. In 2009, they were a Director of Promo Content for TV, creating promo-videos for TV programs and films. From 2011 to 2016, Lily worked at Well Done Studio as a Creative Video Editor and Video Producer. During this time, they created short films, promos and mood videos for events, fashion and music. Lily moved to Inditex in 2013 as a Video Producer and then to Mainstream LLC in 2016 as a First Assistant Director. In 2019, they joined PicsArt Inc. as a Social Video Producer and Video Producer. Lily created and produced the educational series “PicsArt 101” and the entertainment video series “PicsArt #IRL”. In 2020, Lily began working at both Funday and Flixel Photos Inc. as an Associate Creative Director.

Lily Zakarian obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from the State Institute for Art Studies in Moscow between 2010 and 2013. Lily also earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Radio and Television from the Humanities Institute of TV&Radio Broadcasting named after M.A. Litovchin between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, an Introduction to Video Dialogue Editing and Learning Art Direction, both obtained in May 2020.
