GIS Technician at FLO Analytics

Emma Swanson is currently a GIS Technician at FLO Analytics. Prior to that, they worked as a GIS Analyst at Houston ISD from September 2019 to January 2022. Serve as the sole “Subject Matter Expert” linking geospatial analysis and Census Bureau data related to school attendance boundaries.

Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, interviewing candidates for open positions and selecting summer interns for the department. Coordinate and lead department social events.

Emma Swanson has a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where they majored in geography and minored in history and Middle East studies. Emma also has an advanced diploma from Loudoun County High School.
