Amy Fisher has a long and varied work experience. Amy began their career in 2005 as a Program Assistant at Industry Canada. In 2006, they worked as a Junior Contract Coordinator at Petro Canada, followed by a role as an Account Coordinator at DECOSTA. In 2007, they joined Target Marketing & Communications Inc. as a Digital Marketing / Account Coordinator. In 2008, they founded BrandYou Marketing, a marketing and management consultancy firm. From 2009-2010, they were a DJ, Co-owner, and Creative Contributor at Remix86. From 2010-2020, they were the Digital Lead at Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism, followed by a role as Head of Marketing at Mysa. Currently, they are the Brand and Product Marketing Lead at Float.

Amy Fisher's education history includes a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Co-operative) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they obtained between 2003 and 2008, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, Amy has obtained a number of certifications, including a Certified Brand Strategist from Section4 (2021), a Leadership Development Program from Shift People Development Inc.
