Chay Johansson is a highly experienced artist specializing in character effects and technical artistry, currently serving as the Lead CFX Artist at Floating Rock Studio since May 2023. Previously, Chay held the position of Senior Technical Artist at Imagendary Studios from July 2022 to February 2023, and served as Creature Technical Director at Wētā FX from August 2014 to July 2022. Additional experience includes a role as Technical Artist at （株）トライエース in 2013 and dual positions as Cinematic Animator at Blizzard Entertainment in 2008 and 2009. Chay holds a Bachelor of Digital Media with a focus on Games Art and Design from Murdoch University, completed between 2009 and 2012.

Garrick Rawlingson, Lukas Niklaus, Stephanie Parker, and Laurent Herveic are veterans of the VFX and animation industry, who have banded together and founded Floating Rock! Floating Rock provides high end animation and asset development services. Our core value is creating cinematic experiences with high quality. Our vast experience in styles keeps us pliable for varying projects for film, game cinematics, and commercials. As film artists ourselves, we were tired of moving around the world for short term contracts. We wanted to build a place where we could do what we love in an adaptable space for settled families and nomads alike.
