Sebastian Trujillo is a seasoned visual effects professional currently serving as the Visual Effects Supervisor at Floating Rock Studio since July 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Wētā FX from December 2016 to July 2023, where Sebastian held multiple roles including Lead Animator and Animation Supervisor, contributing to high-profile projects such as "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," as well as collaborating with Blizzard Entertainment on the "Overwatch" expansion "The Wastelander." Sebastian also worked on acclaimed projects like "Alita Battle Angel," "Avengers: End Game," and "Jumanji: The Next Level." Earlier experience includes positions at MPC and Weta Productions. Academically, Sebastian earned a Master's degree in Digital Design and a Bachelor's degree in 3D Animation from the Auckland University of Technology.

Floating Rock provides high end animation and asset development services. Our core value is creating cinematic experiences with high quality. Our vast experience in styles keeps us pliable for varying projects for film, game cinematics, and commercials. As film artists ourselves, we were tired of moving around the world for short term contracts. We wanted to build a place where we could do what we love in an adaptable space for settled families and nomads alike.
