David Ballard

David Ballard currently serves as the Industry Subject Matter Expert and has held roles such as Solutions Engineer and Solutions Consultant at Flock Safety since September 2022. Prior to this position, David served as Chief Executive Officer at Charlie 7 Consultants, LLC from November 2018 to March 2025. David's extensive career in law enforcement includes a tenure at the Shelby County Sheriffs Office in Tennessee from September 1997 to September 2022, where David retired as the Lieutenant of the Homeland Security and Intelligence Division, overseeing units including K9, Special Investigations, General Investigations, Homicide, Property Crimes, Narcotics, and Street Crimes. David holds a degree from the University of Memphis, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
