Petra Knapp

Petra Knapp is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering and sustainability. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at Flock Safety since July 2022, Petra contributes to a public safety operating system designed to enhance community collaboration against crime. As Co-Founder of Sustaying, initiated in February 2022, Petra focuses on evaluating accommodations based on environmental and social standards while nurturing partnerships with stakeholders. Additionally, Petra owns and operates Native Provisions, a sustainable food business in the Columbia Gorge. Previously, Petra worked at Nike as a Packaging Sustainability Engineer, where significant contributions were made to circular packaging strategies, and held various roles at Insitu Inc. and California Polytechnic State University, showcasing expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and educational support. Petra holds multiple degrees from California Polytechnic State University, including a Master of Science in Packaging Value Chain and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
