Mai Ngo Thu

Mai Ngo Thu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mai currently works as an Engineer at Flodesk starting from December 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Research and Development Assistant at UOYMedia Cross Border E-commerce Company from March 2021 to December 2021, where they focused on improving business operations and conducting product marketing research. Before that, Mai worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Olalani Resorts and Condotels from July 2019 to November 2020. Mai also had a previous internship at the same company in 2018, where they gained experience in HR procedures and performance appraisal. Mai has teaching experience as an English Teaching Assistant and Teacher at Topica Edtech Group from June 2017 to July 2018. Mai also has experience as a Placement Coordinator and Blogger at VNUK - Institute of Research and Executive Education from May 2016 to April 2018, where they helped students find job placements and contributed to a blog. Additionally, Mai worked as a Logistics Coordinator at APEC - Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation in September 2017, where they handled vehicle bookings and coordinated logistics for the Economic leaders' week. Mai also had a short-term internship as a Personal Banker at Ngân hàng TMCP Đông Nam Á - SEABANK in the summer of 2017, where they gained experience in the banking industry.

Mai Ngo Thu obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Vilnius University in 2019. Mai also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management from VN-UK Institute for Research & Executive Education, which they completed in 2019 as well. In 2016, they participated in a short-term exchange program at the Catholic University of Daegu, where they studied Culture and Business. Additionally, Mai Ngo Thu has obtained several certifications, including Event Management Skills from the British Council in August 2020, IC3 Digital Literacy Certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in September 2019, and an IELTS score of 6.5 from the British Council in June 2016.
