Ken O'Byrne

Ken O'Byrne is an accomplished commercial director with extensive experience in the energy and telecommunications sectors. Currently, Ken serves as the Commercial Director at Flogas Ireland, where the focus is on helping homes and businesses reduce energy bills. In addition to this role, Ken has been the SME Category Manager at Bord Gáis Energy since December 2015, driving growth in electricity and gas services for the SME sector in Ireland. Previous positions include Commercial Manager at Bord na Móna, where strategic account management contributed to market leadership and growth, and Strategic Program Manager at Electric Ireland, where business planning and strategy development were pivotal for launching new energy propositions. Ken also held several leadership roles at eircom Ltd., including General Manager for the Cards & Payphone Business and Head of Consumer Marketing. Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management from University College Cork and furthered education at Dublin City University.
