Chris Morgan

Chris Morgan has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Chris is currently serving as the Senior Design Team Manager at Flomatik Network Services since August 2020. Prior to this, from November 2015 to August 2020, they were the Owner and Director of their own company.

Before starting their own company, Chris worked at Virgin Media as a Senior Network Designer from October 2001 to October 2015. In this role, they led the production of responses to requests for impact assessments, feasibility studies, and high-level design and costing to support the bid management process. Chris also led the production of large and complex transmission and fibre network designs, ensuring quality, time, and cost objectives were met, and maintaining network records post-implementation.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked at NTL. From August 2000 to October 2001, they served as a Network Design Engineer within the Core Transmission Design team. Their responsibilities included producing high-level design and costing information to support the bid management process and delivering detailed design solutions for various projects. Chris also worked as a Project Engineer within the National Networks team at NTL during the same period, where they managed and planned field activities related to transmission and fibre network projects.

Chris's work experience at NTL began in September 1997, where they worked as a Project Technician within the National Networks team. In this role, they were responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment racks, power supply, and transmission equipment. Chris also played a role in the build of SDH rings.

Chris Morgan completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Physics from Aberystwyth University between 1993 and 1997. Prior to attending university, Chris attended Llantarnam Comprehensive in Cwmbran, UK. No additional information is provided about their education at Llantarnam Comprehensive.
