Giovanni Asole

Giovanni Asole is a bioinformatic professional currently working as a Bioinformatic Assistant at Flomics since April 2023. Prior to this role, Giovanni served as a Bioinformatician at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) from October 2022 to April 2023, and conducted a Master Thesis at CRG focusing on transcriptome data analysis of Daphnia Magna for the precisionTOX project in early 2022. Educational qualifications include a Laurea Magistrale in scienze e tecnologie informatiche with a focus on bioinformatics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and a Laurea in scienze biomediche from Università degli Studi di Sassari. Additional experience includes a Bachelor Thesis analyzing RNA binding proteins and their association with Mendelian diseases, as well as internships at Grimaldi Group.
