Wade Sheppard, PMP

Wade Sheppard, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Wade began their career at Whole Foods Market, where they served as a Customer Service Team Leader for 10 years. During this time, Wade managed a team of 35 employees and played a crucial role in testing and upgrading the company's point-of-sale hardware and software.

Following their time at Whole Foods Market, Wade worked as the Finance and Customer Retention Manager at Landmark Education. Wade then transitioned into the construction industry, working as a Sr. Project Manager at Gaddy Constructions and as the President and Founder of Timber Homes. In these roles, Wade gained extensive project management experience and successfully led various construction projects.

Wade's career took a turn towards government projects when they joined the City of Aurora as the Head of Community Housing and Redevelopment Department in 2011. In this role, they managed the revitalization PMO and was responsible for making critical credit and investor decisions involving city, state, and federal funds. Wade also ensured compliance with program requirements by carefully reviewing contractor and sub-contractor applications.

Most recently, Wade worked as a Project Manager at FLOORZ. Wade managed a $10 million portfolio of projects, including notable builds and renovations for UCHealth Highlands Ranch, Swedish Hospital, and CoorsTek AMP. Their responsibilities included overseeing project budgets, timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Throughout their career, Wade demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to handle high-visibility projects.

Wade Sheppard, PMP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy/Religion with a minor in English Literature from Graceland University. In addition to their education, they have received several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include being a Section 3 Compliance Officer, Community Development Block Grant Certified, Davis Bacon Compliance Officer, HOME Certified, and holding a General Contractors License from the City of Aurora. Wade obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May of 2015. Wade also has a Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor certification, although the institution from which it was obtained is not specified.
