Joost Verhagen is an experienced marketing and insights professional currently serving as the Head of Global Consumer Marketing Data & Insights at Upfield since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading the marketing insights and data agenda within the Global Marketing Team. Prior to this role, Joost Verhagen held various positions at Unilever from August 2011 to June 2018, including Consumer and Market Insights Lead for SouthWest Europe, and Global Consumer and Market Insights Manager for Foods. Earlier career experiences include roles at SM@RT, TNS NIPO, and Research International, focusing on consumer insights and market research for the FMCG sector. Joost Verhagen obtained a Master’s degree in Marketing Management and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
