R. van Weelden

R. Van Weelden has extensive experience in compliance and legal roles within various prominent organizations. Since January 2020, R. Van Weelden has served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary at Flora Food Group while also holding the position of Regional Compliance Manager at Kuehne + Nagel since January 2018. Previously, R. Van Weelden worked as Director of the Legal Business Unit for Industrial Chemicals at Akzo Nobel from February 2016 to December 2017 and held several significant roles at AkzoNobel from January 1992 to February 2016, including Senior Compliance Counsel and Legal Counsel, focusing on procurement contracts and insurance-related matters. R. Van Weelden began an insurance career as an Insurance Consultant at Van Leer Insurance Services from January 1989 to January 1992. Academic qualifications include an Executive Master of Compliance from the University of Amsterdam, a Company Lawyer degree from Grotius Academie, and a Master’s degree in Law from Utrecht University.
