Michael Rank

Michael Rank has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Controller at Flora Growth (FLGC) since January 2024, where they are responsible for implementing IFRS and US GAAP, overseeing the monthly close and consolidation process, and filing with the SEC.

Prior to this, Michael worked at Twin Disc from 2014 to 2022, starting as Manager Financial Reporting and later becoming the global administrator for consolidation software. Michael managed monthly global consolidation, led the SEC reporting process, and handled financial close, external audit, and filing with the SEC.

Before Twin Disc, Michael worked at Ariens Company as a Senior Financial Accountant from 2012 to 2014, overseeing monthly close procedures, managing the general ledger, and reviewing financial statements. Michael also had a brief role as a Staff Financial Analyst at Appleton Papers in 2012.

Michael's earlier experience includes roles at Appleton Papers Inc as a Staff Financial Reporting Analyst and later as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst from 2006 to 2012. In these roles, they were responsible for the consolidation of financial statements, preparation of internal financials and earnings reports, and preparation of filings for 10Qs and 10Ks.

Prior to that, Michael worked at Schneider National and Schneider Logistics as a Senior Financial Analyst from 1999 to 2006. During this time, they coordinated month-end close, acted as the primary financial contact for large customers, and performed project cost analysis.

Michael began their career as a Bank Teller at Bank of Luxemburg from 1996 to 1998.

Michael Rank received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
