Laura Pold has worked in the hospitality industry since 2013. Laura began their career as a Receptionist for Altedia Hôtels in 2013, followed by a Receptionist role at Hôtel des Princes and a Front Desk Receptionist role at The Chambers Luxury Serviced Apartment in 2014. In 2015, they moved to Cygnific as a Customer Service Representative. In 2017, they joined Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants as a Guest Service Agent, part of the opening team of the first Kimpton in Europe. In 2018, they became the Front Office Supervisor for Hampton by Hilton Utrecht Central Station, where they were responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching the team, setting up and implementing procedures and checklists, and performing and coordinating reception tasks and administrative work. In 2020, they joined FlorAccess as a Sales Support Lead, responsible for the French market and assisting clients with the entire sales process. Laura also took on the role of Sales Support French Market, responsible for assisting with any issues or questions, any quality issues or questions regarding logistics.

Laura Pold has a comprehensive education history. Laura began their studies in 2008 at the École Hôtelière Savoie Léman, where they obtained their Baccalauréat in Hospitality and Catering in 2011. Laura then continued their studies at the same school, obtaining their Responsable Hébergement degree in 2014. Afterwards, they attended the Université Savoie Mont Blanc, where they obtained their Licence 3 in Hospitality, Tourism and Event in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn, CIPD, HSN: Horeca Stichting Nederland, SVH, Inprevo, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
