Cynthia Garcia Walter

Cynthia Garcia Walter has over ten years of experience in project management and product management. Cynthia began their career in 2002 as a Project Team Lead/Business Analyst at Academy Sports and Outdoors. In 2006, they moved to First American Flood Data Services as a Project Manager, and then to Myriad Development in 2007 in the same role. In 2008, they joined CORT (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) as a Project Manager, and then moved to CORT as a Product Manager in 2016. In 2019, they became a Sr. Product Manager at Shipwell, where they worked with an Engineering team to develop a feature rich TMS platform, managed the implementation of API and EDI integrations with mid-size and enterprise accounts, and developed and managed a product roadmap using input from customers and the sales team. In 2022, they moved to Flo Recruit as a Sr. Product Manager.

Cynthia Garcia Walter completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Computer Applications at the University of Notre Dame in 1999. Cynthia then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. In 2005, they obtained their Business Analyst Certification Program from B2T Training and their Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2014, they received their PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2021, they obtained their PMC Level I and PMC Level II from Pragmatic Institute.
