Marek Olszewski

Advisor at Flori Ventures

Marek Olszewski is currently an advisor at Flori Ventures. Prior to that, they were the president of Valora, a company that built the next global Venmo. Marek was also the CTO of cLabs and the VP of Engineering at GoDaddy. Marek Olszewski is also the founder and former CTO of Locu, Inc., which was acquired by GoDaddy. Prior to their work in the private sector, Marek Olszewski was a research assistant at MIT for five years. Marek also did research internships at Microsoft and Sun Microsystems during their time as a student. Marek Olszewski also interned as a software engineer at Google during their undergraduate studies.

Marek Olszewski has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Computer Science, which they obtained between 2007 and 2012. Marek also has a MASc from the University of Toronto in Computer Engineering, which they obtained between 2005 and 2007. Finally, they have a BASc from the University of Toronto in Computer Engineering, which they obtained between 2001 and 2005.
