Dana Vouglitois

Senior Associate Director, Intellectual Property & Technology Development at Florida Atlantic University

Dana Vouglitois has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Dana started their professional journey as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office in 2013. Subsequently, they served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable John J. O'Sullivan at the United States District Court for The Southern District of Florida in 2012. Following this, they joined Hofmann & Schweitzer as a Law Clerk in 2014. In the same year, they transitioned to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as an Acting Rights & Clearances Counsel. In 2015, they became a Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs at The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Associate Director, Intellectual Property & Technology Development at Florida Atlantic University.

Dana Vouglitois holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Dana also has a Master of Music degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami. Dana Vouglitois completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Georgian Court University. Dana has additional certifications, including being a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, holding a Certificate in Patent Law from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and being a Registered Patent Attorney with the USPTO. Dana Vouglitois is also a Certified Licensing Professional and holds licenses as an attorney in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
