Roy Ambinder

Roy Ambinder, MD, is an accomplished medical oncologist and hematologist currently serving as the Founder and CEO of BioStrategic Therapeutics, Inc. since 2020 and as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute since January 2013. Ambinder holds numerous leadership positions, including President of Board Certified Physician Review and Consultant and Expert Witness in Oncology and Hematology for the Department of Health, State of Florida. Ambinder also leads Ambinder Strategic Consulting, providing expert consulting services to healthcare companies and medical research facilities. Previous board roles include the American Oncology Network and serving as an initial seed investor and advisor for Onconova Therapeutics. Ambinder's academic credentials include a BA in Biology from Yale University, a medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology from Mount Sinai Hospital. Notably, Ambinder co-chaired a NASA-American Cancer Society initiative focusing on leveraging NASA technology for cancer treatment and diagnosis.
