Deanna Knight started their career in 2008 as an Assistant Professor at Daytona State College. Deanna then transitioned to the role of Assistant Chair of Accounting and Business in 2016 at the same institution. In 2017, Deanna assumed the position of Vice President of Accounting at OU Federal Credit Union before becoming their CFO in 2019. Deanna worked in that role until 2023 when they moved on to become the Chief Financial Officer at Floridacentral Credit Union.
Deanna Knight's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Delta State University. Deanna completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus in Accounting and Business/Management in 1997. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Mississippi - School of Business Administration, where they obtained their Master of Accountancy degree in 1998, majoring in Accounting.
