Matt Curran

Matt Curran is an experienced nonprofit and membership development professional, currently serving as the Director of Membership Development at the Florida Chamber of Commerce since March 2020. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Membership Development Manager at the NC Chamber from August 2007 to March 2020, focusing on expanding the membership base and enhancing retention strategies. Matt's extensive background also includes serving as President of Curran Nonprofit Consulting, specializing in membership development and sponsorship campaigns for business associations from October 2006 to December 2015, as well as working as Development Director at NCFREE from 1994 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration with a minor in Environmental Studies from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from St. Lawrence University.
