Jose Fernandez is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in public and private sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Florida Compass Group since May 2007, Jose previously held the position of Chief of Staff for the City of Orlando from February 2003 to May 2007. Additionally, Jose was the President and founding executive of HBIF of Florida, Inc., from March 1995 to February 2003. Educational background includes a degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Rollins College, a master’s in public administration from the University of Central Florida, and a program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
