Daveen Williams

Daveen Williams has extensive experience as a Special Education Teacher, currently serving at the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since August 2018. Previously, from July 2004 to June 2018, Daveen provided consultative services to multiple elementary and high schools within the Potomac Conference, conducting various assessments to evaluate students' learning needs. Previous roles also include a Special Education/Learning Resource Teacher at Shenandoah Valley Adventist Elementary, where support for classroom teachers and targeted remediation in Math and Reading were provided. Early teaching experience includes instructional roles in Integrated Science, Reading, and Computer Science at Canaan Seventh-day Adventist High School. Daveen holds a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from La Sierra University and degrees in Business Administration from the University College of Belize and St. Johns College Junior College.

Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® is an unincorporated, nonprofit organization which serves as the administrative body for its sisterhood of churches with emphasis on evangelism, nurturing constituents, and operating a system of schools. The Florida Conference regional corporate headquarters provides resources to its members, church congregations, and the general public. The territory of Florida Conference, organized in 1893, includes the entire state except Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington counties which belong to Gulf States Conference. As of March 2017, more than 64,000 Adventists are Florida Conference members at 208 churches, 57 companies, and least 32 mission groups.
