Dr. Betty Nugent

Dr. Betty Nugent is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Above and Beyond Educational Encounters since April 2024, focusing on educational consulting, training, and coaching. In addition, Dr. Nugent is an Instructional Coach for the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and has held various roles at Southern Adventist University and Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences as an adjunct instructor. Previous positions include Associate Professor of Education at Washington Adventist University, Principal-Teacher at Mt Sinai Jr. Academy, and Principal within the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Dr. Nugent's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Teacher Leadership from Walden University, a Master's in Educational Psychology from Andrews University, and a Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences from Southern Adventist University.
