Tirso Tavarez is an experienced educator with a strong background in religious and Christian education, holding both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from West Coast Bible University. Currently serving as a 3rd-8th Grade Teacher at the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since June 2019, Tirso has previously held positions as a Middle School Teacher at Northwest Christian Academy and a Music Teacher at ASM Music Schools Inc. Throughout the career, Tirso has demonstrated a commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative program evaluation. Additionally, Tirso has significant experience in youth leadership as a Youth Director at Kendall Spanish Adventist Church and a Teacher within the Kendall Pathfinder's Club, coordinating various educational and outreach programs.

Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® is an unincorporated, nonprofit organization which serves as the administrative body for its sisterhood of churches with emphasis on evangelism, nurturing constituents, and operating a system of schools. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream, protestant, Bible-believing denomination with more than 17 million believers worldwide. The Florida Conference regional corporate headquarters provides resources to its members, church congregations, and the general public. The territory of Florida Conference, organized in 1893, includes the entire state except Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Washington counties which belong to Gulf States Conference. As of March 2017, more than 64,000 Adventists are Florida Conference members at 208 churches, 57 companies, and least 32 mission groups.
