Gustavo G. Garcia

Gustavo G. Garcia has extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the energy and manufacturing sectors, particularly in boiler planning and maintenance at Florida Crystals and its subsidiary, New Hope Power Plant, since 2010. Prior to this, Gustavo held several leadership positions, including Maintenance Superintendent and Plant Reliability Engineer at New Hope Power Plant, as well as Assistant General Manager at CMN Steel Fabricator, where oversight of over seventy employees and project coordination were key responsibilities. Gustavo's career began in the sugar industry, culminating in managerial positions at multiple sugar cane complexes, where responsibilities included production oversight, financial analysis, and project execution. Gustavo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas and various certifications in occupational safety and health.
