Nivaldo Ferreira

Nivaldo Ferreira has over 30 years of experience in the sugar and ethanol industry. Nivaldo worked as the Sr Director of Industrial Operations at Florida Crystals since November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Project Director at ASR Group from October 2021 to January 2023. From 2011 to 2021, Nivaldo held various managerial roles at Raízen, including Gerente de Engenharia e Projetos and Gerente Agroindustrial Polo Araraquara, where they were responsible for the agricultural and industrial areas of the Polo, overseeing multiple sugar, ethanol, and electricity production facilities. Before Raízen, Nivaldo worked as the Gerente Corporativo de Processos at Cosan, Gerente Industrial at Tereos, and Gestor de Projetos at Açúcar Guarani S.A. Nivaldo started their career as an Engenheiro industrial at Açúcar Guarani S.A. in 1994.

From 1989 to 1993, Nivaldo Ferreira attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. During their studies, they focused on the fields of chemical industrial processes, biomass, and materials. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued an MBA in Business Management at FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas).
