Karla Howard

Karla Howard has extensive experience in the field of economic opportunity and workforce support, currently serving as a Management Review Specialist for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity since February 2010, with previous roles including Benefits Program Supervisor and Government Operations Consultant. Howard has been instrumental in managing a statewide call center for the Unemployment Compensation program, focusing on operational efficiency and problem resolution. Additionally, Karla co-founded Howard Family Studios, LLC, which aims to create impactful applications for users. Prior to these roles, Howard held positions with the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation and Kelly Services, further demonstrating a commitment to employment services. Karla holds an MBA in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
