Alan Willett, MS, MBA, PG, is a Professional Geologist II at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, responsible for hydrogeological reviews and technical assessments for permit applications related to various landfill facilities. With extensive experience in environmental consulting and health assessment, Alan has served in multiple roles within the Florida Department of Health, focusing on environmental impacts and risk assessments associated with hazardous waste. Previous positions include logistics management for Downrange Operations & Training, field geology for Horizon Well Logging, and senior geology roles at Ecology & Environment, managing numerous environmental projects. Alan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Coastal Geology, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a minor in Biology.
