Nick Campanile serves as the Bureau Chief for the Bureau of Survey & Mapping at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection since September 2025, overseeing a range of surveying and mapping operations. Prior experience includes roles as District Five Surveyor and R/W Mapping & Survey Control Records Supervisor at the Florida Department of Transportation, where responsibilities involved survey services, public records, and GIS mapping. Campanile also held various leadership positions at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, managing the Office of Survey & Mapping and overseeing contract management, land acquisitions, and complex projects. Additionally, Campanile has contributed to academia as an adjunct instructor at Tallahassee Community College and Miami-Dade Community College, teaching courses related to surveying. Education was obtained from the University of Florida between 1978 and 1984.
