Barbara Strouse

Barbara Strouse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in right of way appraisal and real estate. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Independence Acquisition and Appraisal since March 2023, Barbara has held various significant roles including Senior Review Appraiser at the Florida Department of Transportation and Former Consultant Contract Manager at HDR. Prior experience includes Deputy Right of Way Manager, Valuation at Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and Real Estate Specialist at PBS&J Inc. Barbara also owned a real estate business, Best Homes of Polk County Inc., focusing on corporate relocation and appraising. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida, obtained between 1978 and 1982.
