Margaret Rushmore

Margaret Rushmore M.S. currently serves as the District Construction Environmental Coordinator for the Florida Department of Transportation, a position held since November 2016, responsible for conducting permit inspections on active construction projects across several counties. Previously, Margaret held the role of Environmental Specialist I, where NEPA assessments on construction projects were conducted. Additional experience includes serving as a Divemaster for the Nova Southeastern University Academic Diving Program, a Microbiology Analyst at Florida Spectrum Environmental Services Inc., and a Field Biologist for Coastal & Marine Ecology Consultants Inc. Margaret holds a Master's Degree in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and Biology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
