Randy Currin

Chief Operating Officer at Florida Digestive Health Specialists

Randy Currin has extensive experience in healthcare management. Randy began their career at HCA Healthcare in 2008 as a Vice President, where they were responsible for division-wide orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical strategy and operations. Randy then joined Health First in 2012 as a Senior Vice President of Operations, overseeing system-wide operations and capital planning for inpatient and outpatient surgical services. In 2016, they joined Sacred Heart Health System as the Chief Operating Officer, where they were in charge of hospital operations and organizational integration. From 2017 to 2021, Randy served as the Chief Executive Officer at HCA Healthcare, leading strategic operations for multiple medical facilities. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Mission Strategy and Integration Officer at Empath Health. In this role, Randy is responsible for integrating mission strategies within the organization. Starting in 2023, they will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Florida Digestive Health Specialists.

Randy Currin obtained a Bachelor's Degree from East Carolina University from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Randy also holds the certifications of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives and Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma from Health First.
