Jon Wangsgard

Jon Wangsgard is an experienced stage and production manager currently serving as the Production Stage Manager for Florida Grand Opera since October 2025. Prior to this role, Jon worked at Portland Opera from 2010 to May 2025, holding positions as both Stage & Production Manager and Production Stage Manager, overseeing various aspects of opera productions, including music and staging rehearsals, technical and dress rehearsals, and performances. Additionally, Jon has experience as a Producer with Soler Production Company from August 2007 to August 2010, managing a wide range of events including gala dinners and fashion shows, with responsibilities spanning from planning and venue coordination to event execution. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Brigham Young University and an Associate of Arts in Theatre from Ricks College.
