Dr. Daniel Ray Hoover Jr. is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as University Ombuds, Assistant Dean, and Director of Student Case Services at Florida Gulf Coast University since January 2018. Previously, Dr. Hoover held various positions in student conduct and case management, including Director of Student Conduct & Greek Affairs at Marist College and Coordinator for Student Conduct at Florida Gulf Coast University. Additional experience includes roles such as Area Director at the College of William and Mary and Residence Life Coordinator at Elmhurst College. Dr. Hoover holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from William & Mary, a Master's in Higher Education from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Coe College.
